NIMASA DG visits Naval chief to deepen collaboration

The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh has paid a working visit to the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogala in a quest to deepen the relationship between both parties for the collective good of the Nigerian maritime industry.

According to a statement by NIMASA spokesman, Mr. Edward Osagie, the two discussed areas of collaboration to ensure the vision of President Bola Tinubu in creating the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy are achieved in good time.

“The issue of illegal unreported and unregulated fishing was discussed and they are exploring new vistas to ensure Nigerians enjoy the benefits of natural resources in the maritime industry”, Osagie further said.
