Northwest Progressives Youth endorse Basiru as APC National Secretary

The Northwest Progressives Youth, a dynamic and forward-thinking group committed to advancing progressive values in the region, has announced its endorsement of Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as the next Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement, APC Zonal Youth leader, by Hon. Abdulhamid Umar Mohammed said that Basiru, the former spokesperson of the 10th senate, has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the Party and party youth in general, the vision to build a brighter future for all Nigerians.

He described the Senator as a potential grassroot party man, who has unwavering commitment to social justice, economic empowerment, and inclusive governance which according to him aligns perfectly with party’s organisation’s goals.

The statement added that “throughout his tenure as a Senator, Senator Basiru has shown remarkable leadership, advocating for policies that uplift the marginalized and empower the underprivileged. His relentless pursuit of progress and innovation has inspired the youth across the Northwest region.

“As the APC Secretary, we believe Senator Basiru will bring fresh perspectives, transformative ideas, and unwavering dedication to strengthening the party and its objectives. With his experience and passion, we are confident that he will contribute significantly to the party’s growth and effectiveness.

“We call upon all APC members and supporters in the Northwest region to rally behind Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru and support his candidacy for the position of APC Secretary. Together, we can build a more prosperous, equitable, and united Nigeria.
