The board of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) has readjusted the kick-off date of the 2023/2024 season.
The NWFL was earlier scheduled to begin next Wednesday.
The new season has now been rescheduled to start the day before.
Ekiti Queens will host Delta Queens in the opening fixture of the new season.
The match will take place at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti.
The President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau is expected to grace the game.
