Film director, Omoni Oboli has made history at the West African box office with latest movie, The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3, grossing N28.2 million and securing its place as the highest-performing film in the region.

The film earned N10 million in voucher sales within two days of release.

Oboli expressed gratitude to the cast, crew, and audience for the film’s success, which has broken multiple records, thereby making her one of the prominent filmmakers in the industry.
