Ondo Assembly seeks prayer for Akeredolu’s recovery

The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji has urged the people of the state to intensify prayers for the quick recovery of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

During a special prayer organised for the governor at Saint Andrew Cathedral Church, Owo, the Speaker urged the people not to despair, and appealed that rumours being peddled around about the state of the governor’s health should be stopped.

There have been speculations over the state of the health of the governor, with the situation creating tension in the state.

Oladiji, popularly known as Landmark, and his deputy, Hon. Akinruntan Abayomi; Majority Leader, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole; and Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Tosin Ogunlowo were present at the prayer session.

Others at the event were Deputy Minority Leader, Hon. Raymond O. Daudu; and Deputy Chief Whip, Hon. Victor Japheth, among others.
