The Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun has consoled the Adeleke Dynasty of Ede over the death of Master Ifeanyi Adeleke, describing it as tragic and sorrowful.
In a statement on Monday by his Media Adviser, Chief Kola Olabisi in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Famodun said that the gruesome death of the three-year-old grandson of Dr Deji Adeleke was one death, too many.
Ifeanyi drowned 0n Sunday evening in the swimming pool in the house of his father, Mr David Adeleke (popularly known as Davido) on Banana Island, Lagos, in strange circumstances.
The state APC chairman described the incident as pathetic, heartbreaking and pitiable, which no rational human being could wish for any soul.
He pleaded with Davido, his father, Deji and other members of the Adeleke Dynasty to take the death philosophically and pray for God Almighty to continue to protect his siblings.
Famodun prayed that the Adeleke family would never experience such sorrowful incident in their family again.
His statement reads: “The reported sudden death of Davido‘s son, Ifeanyi, in Lagos on Sunday was shocking and tragic.
“My wish on learning about the tragic incident was that it should not be true.
“On behalf of my family and the entire members of the APC in Osun State, I am commiserating with the Adeleke Dynasty of Ede, Osun State, over the death of one of their promising grandchildren.
“May God Almighty grant the father and all other members of the Adeleke family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“May the family not know or experience sorrow again in their lives”.

Davido, the DMW boss, and his fiance, Chioma Rowland were said to be away from the house when the boy drowned in a pool at his father’s house in Banana Island.
