PLDI to confer Penpushing media boss with honorary doctorate degree

The founder of Penpushing Media, Prince Dimeji Kayode Adedeji, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree in Leadership in Journalism from the Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Inc. (PLDI), in collaboration with Immanuel Institute of Theology International, South Africa.

In a letter addressed to Adedeji by the Chairman of the Central Planning and Awards Committee of PLDI, it was revealed that the award is in recognition of Adedeji’s esteemed status in society.

The conferment ceremony will take place during PLDI’s upcoming Leadership Empowerment Conference – LEIC Nigeria 2024, scheduled to be held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, from 15th to 17th August 2024.

The letter reads; “On behalf of the Governing Council of the Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Inc., in collaboration with Immanuel Institute of Theology International, South Africa, I am pleased to inform you of your nomination for the Doctorate Award of PhD (Honoris Causa) in Leadership in Journalism”.

“The award is in recognition of your enviable status in the society, your numerous sterling contributions to worthy causes in furtherance of the development of our country, Nigeria and your impressive commitment to the promotion of ethics and time-honoured values. More importantly, your frontline role in the field of Mass Communication and Media practice in Nigeria speaks eloquently about your capacity and capabilities in nation building.

“The award will be conferred on you during the forthcoming Leadership Empowerment International Conference- LEIC NIGERIA 2024 – taking place in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria from 15th to 17th August 2024.

This will be the fifth (5th) edition of the Annual Conference to be held in Nigeria”, it added.

The organization, Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Inc., is structured in about 50 countries of the world.
