Police arrest notorious serial killer cultist

Police operatives on special assignment have arrested a 37 years old notorious cultist, Philips Omomedia, allegedly involved in series of cult related killings in Delta State.

The Police also recovered one automatic double barrel gun with 15 live cartridges from the suspect.

The suspect, who is an indigene of Onogo-Vor clan of Oghara, was arrested in Oghara community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The arrest followed a series of reported cases of cultism and gun-running in Ughellli/Warri/Sapele/Oghara and its environs.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Bright Edafe confirmed the development in a statement on Tuesday.

Edafe said, ‘Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is a member of Aro-Bagar confraternity and suspected to be involved in a series of cult-related killings.

“Investigation is ongoing”, he said.
