Nigerian comedian Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has won the Best Stand-Up Comedian award at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).
Real Warri Pikin announced her victory on Instagram on Sunday, following the awards ceremony held in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday.
“We won #AFRIMMA Best Stand-up Comedian 2026,” she wrote.
The comedian defeated fellow Nigerians Basketmouth, Bovi and Godfrey, as well as Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, South African comedian Trevor Noah, Ugandan comedian Patrick “Salvado” Idringi and Kenyan comedian Ty Ngachira to claim the award.
The 2026 AFRIMMA ceremony was held on September 12 at Annette Strauss Square, within the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, Texas.
The award adds to Real Warri Pikin’s growing recognition in the Nigerian and African comedy industry.
