Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about the health challenges she has faced in recent months, revealing that she celebrated her 25th birthday in a wheelchair after experiencing severe pain and difficulties with mobility.
The actress shared the disclosure in a video posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as she marked her birthday and explained her prolonged absence from social media.
Daniels said her condition initially appeared minor but worsened over time, affecting her ability to move around freely.
According to her, the situation took a major turn after the last public gathering she organised, a Children’s Day carnival.
“Things took a major turn after the last public gathering that I held for my Children’s Day carnival.
“It’s been one test after another that I started calling myself a lab rat. The pain became too excruciating; sometimes I am walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she said.
The actress explained that the repeated medical tests and unpredictable nature of her condition had made the period particularly difficult.
She also expressed gratitude to God and prayed for healing as she navigated the health challenges.
