Rep aspirant seeks support from constituency leaders, unveils programme

An aspirant for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Prince Babajide Fadairo has sought the support of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ogun Central senatorial zone.

While formally declaring his aspiration at the party secretariat in Itori, Ogun State on Tuesday, Fadairo expressed gratitude to the leaders for their steadfastness and continued support for the administration of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

He canvassed continued support and endorsement of Governor Abiodun’s second term bid.

Fadairo promised improvement of healthcare facilities throughout the communities in the constituency, as well as empowerment for market women and men through a microcredit scheme to boost the capital base of their businesses.

On education, the aspirant said that there would be financial enablement for student in the final classes of junior and secondary schools in the area, while he would facilitate a technology and innovation hub to provide the opportunities to skill-up in information and communication technology for effective peer competition.

He said that he would attract people-oriented projects to the constituency in line with the needs of the people.

On sports and social services, Fadairo said he would initiate inter-constituency football, table tennis and basketball competitions to promote talent discovery within the communities.

‘If given the privilege and opportunity to serve at the Green Chamber, I promise not to disappoint your trust’ the aspirant assured.

He was received by several leaders of the party including the Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman, Chief Fohun Abiola; the Senatorial Women Leader Alhaja Abisola Aliyu; Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government Area, Hon. Sikiru Adeshina; and APC Chairman for the local government, Hon. Ayinde Shogbamu.

Other included former Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Anthony Ojeshina; Hon. Kunle Adegboyega (well known as Texaco), Hon. Akinwande Davies; Hon. Jolaoso; Hon. Sunday Akinyemi; Elder Akinsoji; Hon. Biodun Adeleye, who is the Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Internal Revenue Services.

In remarks, the leaders applauded Fadairo’s antecedent and preparation, and also prayed that his goal and aspiration would come to reality.
