Rescue abducted Kaduna students without ransom – Tinubu orders security

President Bola Tinubu has issued a stern directive to the security personnel not to pay any kobo to the abductors in the course of rescuing the over 280 students recently kidnapped in Kaduna State.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris told State House correspondents in Abuja after the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday that President Tinubu issued a directive to the security personnel to go after the abductors and ensure they rescue the captives and reunite them with their families.

The pupils and teachers of Government Secondary School and LEA Primary School at Kuriga, Kaduna State were abducted by bandits recently, triggering national outrage.

The bandits invaded the Kuriga area of the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, shooting at their victims before taking away the students and teachers.
