As part of its commitment to sustainable community impact and corporate citizenship, Rite Foods Limited has partnered with Atti Theresa Foundation (ATF) to deliver free medical outreach in Ososa, Ogun State, an initiative firmly aligned with its EYEC (Education, Youth Empowerment, Environmental Stewardship and Community Development) sustainability agenda.

Held on 28 March 2026 recently, the outreach provided comprehensive healthcare services to over 400 residents, demonstrating how purposeful corporate action can drive measurable social impact while addressing critical gaps in access to healthcare.

The one-day intervention delivered a full spectrum of healthcare services, including general medical consultations, eye care with prescription glasses, dental care, physiotherapy, and free medications. In addition, beneficiaries received vital health education on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention, helping to address immediate healthcare needs while improving awareness around preventive health practices.

Driving Rite Foods’ EYEC sustainability agenda is a clear commitment to improving quality of life through impactful, community-driven interventions. The Ososa outreach is a further demonstration of this vision by prioritizing underserved groups such as women, children, the elderly, and low-income households many of whom gained access to essential healthcare services they would otherwise have been unable to afford.

On the initiative, the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager, Dennis Aideloje, emphasised the company’s strategic approach to impact. He said: ‘We are proudly Nigerian, and we truly care about our communities. Our EYEC sustainability agenda is built on creating real impact where it matters most. We believe that the real success of a business is directly linked to the difference it makes in society. This is what drives our efforts to deliver meaningful social impact, and this outreach today reflects that long-standing heritage. We are very pleased with the turnout and the positive difference we are making in our communities’.

Four hundred and one beneficiaries were attended to during the outreach, (18 children, 136 males and 247 females) with several cases of hypertension, infections, and vision-related conditions detected early enabling timely intervention and reducing the risk of long-term complications.

The success of the initiative was driven by strong partnerships with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders, including ATF. Their collaboration enabled the delivery of high-quality medical services at no cost to beneficiaries, significantly amplifying the intervention’s reach and effectiveness.

On the engagement, ATF Founder, Aprezi Eniye Kelvin, commended Rite Foods Limited for its commitment to community wellbeing and its proactive approach to expanding access to healthcare. He also highlighted the importance of strategic collaborations in driving meaningful change. He said: ‘Sustainable impact happens when organisations align around a shared purpose. Rite Foods has demonstrated strong leadership with this initiative, and this outreach is a clear example of how partnerships can bring essential healthcare closer to communities, while also building awareness that lasts beyond the intervention’.

He further reiterated ATF’s mission of empowering communities through sustainable health initiatives, education, and advocacy, aimed at improving overall quality of life.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Adeola Ogunleye, expressed her appreciation: ‘I’m truly grateful to Rite Foods for bringing this kind of healthcare to our community. I was able to see a doctor, check my eyes, and get medication all in one place without paying. This is something many of us cannot easily afford. Today has really made a difference for us’, she said.

Community participation was further strengthened by the involvement of the Bigi Fans Club, whose mobilization efforts ensured strong local turnout and seamless coordination.

Beyond immediate healthcare delivery, the outreach also contributed to building trust and strengthening relationships between Rite Foods Limited and the Ososa community, an essential pillar of its sustainability philosophy mobilisation.
