The Royal youth Initiative,an assemblage of youths from 50 religious denominations, founded in 2017, stated this in a release signed by the President comrade Samuel Amaechi & Eugene Ugboaja issued at a World Press Conference at Aba vowed to give Governor Otti unwavering backing to foster more exponiential transformation of the State.

They assured of their readiness to raise the standard of engagement and awareness of political participation and engage their members across the State to support whatever the Governor is doing to make Abia truly number one.

The youths specifically expressed satisfaction with the holistic transformation of the educational sector, massive and aggressive road rehabilitation, prompt and regular payment of salaries and pensions, health sector upgrade and enhanced security infrastructural and urban renewal, installation of street light and improved sanitation.

Other areas of impressive performance by the Governor named by the youths are road connectivity including the 32 km ohafia- umuahia road,67.7 km umuahia- uzuakoli-Abiriba- ohafia- Arochukwu rout,Port harcourt road Aba,cemetery road, ohanku road, Omenuko bridge,Ovum gulley erosion pointing out that based on their findings work is going on at every nook and cranny of the State.

The Royal Youth Initiative however, regretted that Aba has not had a very good representation as all meaningful development projects are from the State stressing that they are not comfortable with the current representation in the past 3 years.

According to them, the unimpressive representation of Aba may not be unconnected with the fact that those who represented the Constituency are not from Aba and so make mistakes on constituency projects since they also have their home constituency as no man can serve two masters adding that this informed their Choice Chief Ebisike a Son of the Soil for Aba Federal Constituency having served for one year plus with his signature projects all over Aba.
