Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will be the special guest of honour at the National Association for Physical Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD) seminar scheduled from 16 to 18 April at the NIS Gymnasium, National Stadium, Lagos.
The seminar is in conjunction with the National Institute for Sports.
Chairman of the organising committee Dr Johnson Williams, said arrangements towards ensuring a successful programme had been concluded.
According to him, the three-day event with the theme ‘Skill Advancement for Lagos State Physical and Health Education Teachers’ will have Dr. Sunday Odior, Chairman of Lagos NAPHER-SD, as the chief host
“With safety measures in school sports, sports data analytics, development of grassroot sports through Physical Education theory and practical lessons, the necessity for today’s Physical Education teachers to enhance their skills to meet current challenges and talent identification and development in schools and other enriching sub-themes, are on the agenda”, Williams said.
