The Ondo State Stakeholders Committee on Ageing has congratulated Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti on his 99th birthday. The leaders of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group clocked 99 years on Monday.
In a statement by the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC) for Ondo State, the Co-chair 1, Adegboyega Ayeni; and Vice Chairman, Mr. Dele Ogundana, thanked God for the life of the illustrious citizen.
The statement read: ‘We are most grateful to God for your precious life and the valuable contributions that you have made to society. Having gone through your relentless efforts in the education sector and your unwavering contributions to the nation’s polity, we thought it befitting to felicitate you on your great birthday.
‘The National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC), Ondo State, thought within ourselves and on behalf of our Director-General, Dr. Emem Omokaro, to join your other numerous admirers across Nigeria to congratulate you for attaining this wonderful age of 99 years.
‘We therefore pray for God’s grace and protection over you, Sir, in more years ahead’.
