Nigerian street-pop singer Seyi Vibez has deleted his posts about celebrity chef Hilda Baci after she threatened to take legal action against him over alleged defamatory remarks.

The development came hours after Hilda, through a warning letter, demanded that the singer remove the posts and issue a public apology or face a lawsuit.

A check by Breezy News confirmed that Seyi Vibez had deleted all the posts concerning Hilda, although he had yet to issue the requested apology.

Hilda’s warning followed a series of posts in which the singer dragged her into his dispute with Dapper Music over an alleged N1 billion controversy involving catalogue funds.

Seyi Vibez was signed to Dapper Music, a record label owned by Hilda’s boyfriend, Damilola Akinwunmi, in 2022.

The singer parted ways with the label in September 2024 and subsequently changed his social media bio to describe himself as an “Independent artist”.

The latest development comes amid the ongoing dispute between Seyi Vibez and his former record label, with Hilda becoming involved after the singer made references to her in his posts.
