Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo has named the road leading to the monumental edifice of the new state Government House, Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard, in honour of the former Secretary General of the Commonwealth.

The Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard was part of the projects commissioned by President Bola Tinubu, together with the newly built Government House and Lodge, the building of the Deputy Governor, the Governor’s Office, 24 other structures, a world-class amphitheatre, and an auditorium.

Also commissioned was the ultra-modern Solution Fun City in Awka, designed for the people of the state to enjoy and play.

Applauding the governor’s transformational drive during his state visit, President Tinubu said: ‘Mr. Solution, Anambra is rising and we are ready to work with you’, underscoring the trust in Soludo’s visionary leadership.

At the commissioning ceremony, Chief Anyaoku commended Soludo for his infrastructure and regeneration of the state, which is gradually turning into the “African Dubai-Taiwan-Silicon Valley,” in line with Soludo’s vision.

According to the state Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, the landmark projects in the state have portrayed Soludo as a catalyst of progress, a man of action, and a doer who translates vision into reality.

He said that Soludo’s commitment to regional development trumps political rhetoric, a rallying champion who believes in transforming the state and a better future for the southeast region.

He said that Soludo’s ambitious vision of the state becoming a destination is an authentic blueprint being meticulously executed, as demonstrated in his ongoing regeneration and advancement of key sectors of the state’s economy.
