Spectranet introduces package with N1m free life insurance cover

As a part of its activities for Customer Service Week, Nigeria’s leading internet service provider, Spectranet launched another innovative offer SpectraLife – a free accidental life insurance cover worth N1 million for its new 4G LTE internet modem customers.

The insurance policy is in partnership with Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC and Purebond Insurance Brokers Limited, SpectraLife.

The policy covers the assured in case of death or disability.

The launch event, which took place at the company’s head office in Ikeja, Lagos, was graced by its authorided dealers, and representatives from Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC and Purebond Insurance Brokers Limited.

The launch of SpectraLife comes a few weeks after the introduction of Voice Calls on the Spectranet Network, via the VOLTE-based innovative WiTel desk phones.

All new customers of the WiTel devices or any other 4G LTE internet modem (from Spectranet’s range of Devices) can now opt-in and immediately register for SpectraLife. Each registration comes with the issuance of a policy number by Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC, which offers an accidental life insurance cover which is valid for one year.

At the event, CEO Spectranet, Mr Ajay Awasthi said that “SpectraLife is our way of giving Spectranet customers extra value for choosing Spectranet and letting them know that we care for them. As a brand, we want to do more for our valued customers and build stronger relationships with them beyond our products and services”.

He further said that SpectraLife is an innovative offer and would be beneficial to the subscribers and their families. He said it is a big shift from the regular customer promo and discounts.

Dealers present at the event showed delight at the launch of SpectraLife, saying that the value of a Free Life Insurance cover on every purchase will interest potential customers, and will help dealers to meet their sales target with ease.

The Deputy General Manager at Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC, Mr Joseph Oladokun spoke about SpectraLife as being an excellent opportunity for everyone who understands the value and uncertainties of life.

He added that the registration and claim process for the product are made seamless for Spectranet customers and would not take them out of their comfort zone.

SpectraLife is free and optional for new customers with a newly activated internet modem.

New customers can register for the product at any exclusive Spectranet shop or authorised dealer outlets.
