Super Eagles camp bubbles with 12 players ahead of AFCON 2025

Twelve players are now in the Super Eagles camp in Egypt ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.

Trabzonspor striker, Paul Onuachu was the latest player to enter the team’s camp on Monday.

The 31-year-old is expected to attend Super Eagles’ first official training session at the mainbowl of the Cairo International Stadium on Monday.

Camp opened officially on Sunday with Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro among the early arrivals.

Nigeria will clash with the Pharaohs of Egypt in a Pre-AFCON friendly on Tuesday.

Eric Chelle’s men will fly to Morocco after the game to continue their preparation for the competition.
