President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from the United Kingdom after a two-week vacation.
The President arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja at about 7:20 pm on Saturday.
He was received by his Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu; Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, among others.
The President departed Abuja for the United Kingdom on a two-week leave on Wednesday, 2 October. In a statement then, his his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga said: “President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.
“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
“He will return to the country after the leave expires”.
