The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections.

In a statement on Monday in Abuja, the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka said the schedule of activities was signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Argungu.
He said the timetable outlined among other activities, timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections, as well as directives on the sales of nomination and expression of interest forms to candidates.
According to the schedule, the expression of interest and nomination forms for presidential aspirants is ₦100 Million, while governorship aspirants are expected to pay ₦50 Million.
NAN reports that the House of Representatives aspirants will pay ₦10 million, Senate, ₦20 million; and State House of Assembly; ₦6 million for both the expression of interest and nomination forms.
Female aspirants, youths, and persons living with disabilities are to pay only for the expression of interest forms and 50 per cent of the nomination fees.
The timetable showed that the notice of election to state chapters commenced on 20 April 2026, marking the official beginning of the party’s internal electoral process.
The sale of nomination forms is scheduled to run from 25 April to 2 May 2026, while the deadline for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents are fixed for 4 May 2026.
Screening of aspirants across all categories, including presidential and governorship positions, State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate, will take place between 6 and 8 May.
The party further scheduled 9 May, for the screening of presidential aspirants, while the publication of screening results for all categories had been set for 11 May.
Appeals arising from the screening exercise are to hold between 12 and 13 May to provide aggrieved aspirants opportunity to seek redress.
Primary elections are expected to begin with the presidential primary slated for 15 and 16 May, followed by the House of Representatives primaries on 18 May.
According to the timetable, Senate primaries will hold on 20 May, while State House of Assembly primaries are scheduled for 21 May. Governorship primaries will conclude the exercise on 23 May.
The timetable also provides for election appeals, with the presidential category slated for 18 May, while appeals for other offices will continue through 25 May.
Morka reassured party’s members, stakeholders, and Nigerians of the party’s commitment to conducting a credible and transparent primary election that would further strengthen its internal democracy and consolidate its progressive ideals.
He stated that the outlined schedule reflected the party’s resolve to strengthen internal democracy while ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all aspirants.
