Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed speculation that he has reunited with his ex-wife, Annie Idibia, following the circulation of a video showing the pair dancing together.
The video, which recently surfaced on social media, prompted widespread speculation that the former couple had reconciled. The rumours also drew mixed reactions from fans and some celebrities who had publicly taken sides during their separation.
Responding to the claims on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Annie dismissed the speculation, writing: “Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense.”
2Baba also addressed the rumours on his Instagram Stories, clarifying that the video was not recent.
“Abeg nah old video o,” he wrote.
The clarification comes about 18 months after 2Baba announced his separation from Annie.
