It was an emotional night on Sunday in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house as two housemates, Danboskid and Ibifubara, were evicted, while the show also announced the death of a production crew member, Ayotunde Elegbede.
During the live eviction for Week two on Sunday, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked Thelma what she thinks about Isabella, and she said she felt Isabella is not her brother’s keeper, referencing events from the last Head of House game.
Big Brother during the show commended the housemates for their performance in the wager task and overall activities in the house.
Biggie later announced Rooboy was voted as the most influential housemate of the week, with his reward to be revealed in real time.
Danboskid was the first to be evicted from the house, receiving a warm hug from his close ally, Zita, before the housemates hailed him with ‘three gbosa for Danboskid’.
Speaking on stage, he said he didn’t believe it, but it is the reality.
He clarified an earlier comment about women, telling Ebuka that he hardly walks up to a woman except it’s exceptional, adding that Zita is gorgeous.
Danboskid expressed hopes of pursuing a Nollywood career and continuing his relationship with Zita outside the house.
The second eviction saw 28-year-old Ibifubara exit the show.
She admitted feeling lonely during the week due to friendship dynamics, and said she was attracted to Otega and Bright Morgan but chose not to act on it because it was not time.
The therapist added that she plans to launch a podcast and expand a hair brand’s creative direction.
Denari escaped eviction after falling into the bottom three, according to the voting chart later displayed.
In a sombre moment, Ebuka announced the passing of Ayotunde Elegbede, a member of the Big Brother production crew, confirming that the family had informed the show’s organisers of his death.
