The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, will be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, 26 September, 2025.
His nomination is said to have been approved by the State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
It was further gathered that the state delegation met with Ladoja and other members of the Olubadan-in-Council at his Bodija private residence on Wednesday.
The monarch’s media aide, Mr. Adeola Oloko confirmed the development to PUNCH Online.
‘Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, 26 September, 2025.
‘The ceremony is billed for the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital’, Oloko said.
It will be recalled that Ladoja had, on Tuesday, met with the kingmakers at his residence.
