On Saturday, 4 October 2025, a public servant and a preacher.Mrs. Francisca Uloma Maduneme will make a public presentation of her two books, Standout Child and The Ministry of Ruth.
Venue is Merit House, Maitama in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja with the event expected to start by 11 am.
In developing the themes of the books, the author drew on her creative mind and experiences. While Standout Child dwells on what it takes for young minds to overcome social handicaps and achieve success, the The Ministry of Ruth draws on a remarkable biblical story of the bond between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law, to show how women in such relationship can develop very close and enduring relationship that will guarantee them a win-win life.
Maduneme said: ‘Every woman is called to a “Ministry of Ruth”’, which she explained is more of a daily life application than a special calling as a clergy or preacher.
She highlighted the key ingredients in such relationships to include mutual respect, effective communication, loyalty and sensitivity to the needs and challenges of each other.
Maduneme’s new books seek to promote balanced life for women and brighter future for young minds with challenged social background.
