The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Muslim Alumni (MAPAMA) has congratulated one of its members, Alhaja Fatimah Oluwatoyin Jinadu, over her appointment as Head of Local Government Administration in the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission.
In a press statement on Friday by its Head of Media and Publicity Committee, Tajudeen Balogun, the body described Jinadu’s appointment as well deserving, given her impressive track record, including: competence, discipline, modesty, diligence, accountability and focus.
MAPAMA President, Abdul Rauf Oluwakemi Adebanjo rejoiced with the appointee, her family, friends, colleagues, associates and the entire geoup on the appointment by the Ogun State government.
MAPAMA urged Jinadu to remain focused, aspire to be more productive and deliver excellently on the mandate of her new office as a public career officer.
It pledged its unwavering support to her and prayed to God to grant her sound health, abundant knowledge, wisdom and ceaseless guidance to excel in discharging her responsibilities.
Jinadu’s appointment which took effect from 30 September 2025, conferred on her the status of Accounting Officer – the first career officer at the state’s Local Government level.
Jinadu’s educational voyage is extensive and diverse, starting with her Primary School Leaving Certificate from Abeokuta Local Government Primary School, Ake-Adatan, Abeokuta, followed by her secondary education at Nawar-Udeen NUD Grammar School, Obantoko, Abeokuta, where she obtained her West African Examination Council General Certificate of Education.
She continued her academic pursuit at the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, where she obtained her National Diploma in Accountancy. Motivated to further her studies, she then enrolled at then Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta, which has since been renamed Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), where she completed her Higher National Diploma in Accountancy.
Prior to her new appointment, Jinadu had served as the Internal Auditor in several Local Government Areas in Ogun State.
She was also the Treasurer and Director of Finance in several local government councils.
A Fellow of Association of National Accountant of Nigeria, Jinadu has MBA from the University of Ado Ekiti, Post Graduate Diploma n Local Government Development Studies and Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, and is currently pursuing a MSC programme in Accounting, at the Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State.
