The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has welcomed the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mrs. Ireti Kingibe into its fold.
Elected into the Senate on the ticket of the Labour Party, the lawmaker formally joined ADC on Thursday after collecting the party’s membership card in Abuja.
In a statement on Friday, ADC’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi said that more defections are expected in the coming days.
The party lauded the Senator for her courage to join the party, stating that it would have been easier to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, but she chose ADC.
