With results coming in thick and fast across the country, indicating an unassailable victory for President Bola Tinubu in Saturday’s presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the presidency has announced that the party would present a certificate of return to its 2027 presidential candidate in Abuja on Sunday.
In a statement on Saturday, a presidential spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, said that the APC Presidential Primary Elections Committee will present the certificate and flag to President Tinubu at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, after nationwide collation of the primary election results.
According to the statement, ‘APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee, the National Working Committee, and the National Assembly, along with party stalwarts, will attend the event’.
