A former Ogun State governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Iyabo Obasanjo has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the 2027 presidential candidate of the party.
In a congratulatory letter, Obasanjo said that President Tinubu’s victory at the party presidential primary elections was well-deserved, adding that she equally admires the dedication, vision, and tireless energy he demonstrated in leading the party and the country.
A former Ogun State Commissioner for Health added that the triumph was a clear testament to the trust and confidence the party and members have in his leadership

The Professor of Public Health and an epidemiologist pointed out that the victory signalled the beginning of a new positive chapter in nation building, stressing that she eagerly anticipated the advancements and improvements President Tinubu would bring forth in his second term in office.
