Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Rangers International held their 2025/26 trophy parade on the streets of Enugu on Tuesday, celebrating their ninth league title.

Rangers clinched the 2025/26 NPFL title on Sunday, 24 May, after beating Ikorodu City 2-1 in Lagos in a dramatic final-day battle with Rivers United.

The players and officials of the club moved through different parts of Enugu before ending the parade at Okpara Square.

Part of their itinerary also included a visit to the Government House, where they were hosted by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah.

The Flying Antelopes went into the decisive fixture knowing that only a win against Ikorodu City, who had been unbeaten at home before the final day, would guarantee them the championship. They achieved that feat to seal their ninth league triumph despite Rivers United’s 3-0 victory over Katsina United in Port Harcourt.

Rangers finished top of the table with 68 points, one ahead of second-placed Rivers United.

The triumph marked another milestone in Rangers’ storied history, adding to their previous league successes in 1974, 1975, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1984, 2016 and 2023/24, and further cementing their status as one of Nigerian football’s most decorated clubs.

They are now level with Enyimba on nine league titles, the most by any club in Nigerian top-flight history.
