Nigerian comedian Mide Coker is set to stage the third edition of his annual comedy show, Job Description 3.0, in Lagos, promising an evening of comedy, music, networking and live entertainment.
The event is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 2 August, at NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja, adjacent to the New Afrika Shrine, with proceedings expected to begin at 5 p.m.
Organisers said the show builds on the success of its previous two editions, both of which attracted large audiences, entertainment enthusiasts, industry stakeholders and notable personalities.
The earlier editions were widely praised for their blend of comedy and live performances, while also providing guests with opportunities to network in a relaxed atmosphere.
This year’s event will feature performances from some of Nigeria’s leading comedians and entertainers, including Destalker, Bash D Cash, Dr Smile, Phronesis, Damola, Rhelax and Olabest, alongside several other performers.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mide Coker said Job Description has evolved beyond a traditional comedy show into a platform that unites people through entertainment.
“Job Description has grown from a comedy show into an experience where people come together to laugh, connect and enjoy premium entertainment. After the success of the first two editions, we are excited to return with Job Description 3.0 and give our audience another unforgettable evening,” he said.
According to the organisers, the event will combine stand-up comedy, live music and networking opportunities to create an engaging and memorable experience for attendees.
With anticipation building among fans and a strong line-up of performers, Job Description 3.0 is expected to further establish itself as one of Lagos’ emerging annual comedy events, attracting lovers of live entertainment from across the city.
