Lagos-based celebrity show promoter Sam Larry has been discharged from hospital following a road traffic accident that claimed the life of his bouncer.
Sam Larry was hospitalised after the crash, which prompted widespread speculation about his condition. Reports circulating on social media claimed he had fallen into a coma, with some users linking the accident to allegations surrounding the death of singer Mohbad, while others expressed concern about his chances of survival.
However, videos that emerged on Friday appeared to dispel the rumours. In one clip, Sam Larry was seen participating in a video call with Fuji musician Malaika, who was performing at an event.
In another video shared shortly afterwards, he was seen celebrating with friends and associates. He also raised his legs, apparently to refute social media claims that one of his limbs had been amputated.
Sam Larry has not publicly addressed the speculation surrounding his condition beyond the videos circulated online.
