The Companion, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions, has congratulated its distinguished member, Barrister Hassan Fajimite, on his election as the President of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN).
In a congratulatory message signed by the association’s National Amir (President), Imam Nojeem Jimoh, FCIH (UK), and its Public Secretary, Professor Tunde Akanni, The Companion described Fajimite’s emergence as the head of the prestigious legal body as a well-deserved recognition of his unwavering commitment to the legal profession, exemplary integrity, distinguished service to Islam, and consistent contributions to nation-building.
The association expressed delight that members of MULAN had entrusted Fajimite with the leadership of the organisation at what it described as a critical period.
According to the statement, Fajimite has consistently exemplified the values of excellence, professionalism, humility and selfless service that The Companion upholds, making him well-suited for the position.
The Companion also expressed confidence that, under his leadership, MULAN would continue to promote the cause of justice, uphold ethical legal practice, strengthen the welfare of Muslim lawyers and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s development.
The association prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, sound health and courage for the new MULAN President as he assumes office, expressing hope that his tenure would be marked by remarkable achievements, lasting impact and enduring success.
The Companion further wished Barrister Fajimite a fruitful and rewarding tenure as President of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria.
