President Bola Tinubu has appointed Yakubu Jang, son of former Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang, as Senior Special Assistant in the Office of the President.
Vice President Kashim Shettima announced the appointment on Saturday while delivering President Tinubu’s goodwill message at the 80th birthday celebration and book launch of Chief Jonah Jang in Jos, Plateau State.
“On behalf of Mr President, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Yakubu Jang as Senior Special Assistant in the Office of the President,” Shettima said.
The announcement was made during the high-profile event at the Tamarald Event Centre in Jos, which was attended by former President Goodluck Jonathan, serving governors, federal and state government officials, traditional rulers and other dignitaries.
