Kira Taiwo, daughter of late veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has shared an emotional tribute following the death of her father.
Kira took to Instagram on Thursday to express her grief, revealing how difficult it has been to come to terms with his absence.
“My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn,” she wrote.
The actress also reflected on a wish she had hoped to fulfil before her father’s death, expressing sadness that he would not get to meet her unborn child.
“I love you, Daddy, but I just wanted more time, more time, more timeeee to meet my second baby. Thank you ooo TAIYE,” she added.
Her latest tribute comes days after she shared a message exchange with the late actor before his death, in which he encouraged her to remain strong and not cry.
In the exchange dated July 26, Ogogo reportedly told his daughter: “How are you? I heard you are crying. Seeing you and your sisters smile is making me strong. If you cry, it will make me sad, and I will start to think.
“Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess.”
The veteran actor reportedly died on August 23 at the age of 66 after battling stage-four cancer.
