Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of three Permanent Secretaries in the state public service.
The appointees are: Bibilomo Olayide Olushekun, until his elevation, Director for Establishments in the Office of Establishments and Training; Akinbode Obadina, former Director of Administration and Human Resource/ Principal Private Secretary to the Head Of Service; and Adenike Ganiat Akanbi, former Director of Finance and Accounts in the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
A statement signed by the state Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola stated that the appointees were drawn mainly from the pool of qualified candidates who had previously been interviewed by the Governor and distinguished themselves exceptionally in the discharge of their duties.
Muri-Okunola expressed confidence that the new appointees possessed the experience, competence and qualities required to serve in the esteemed and revered rank of Permanent Secretary in the state public service.
The Head of Service said that the appointments are with immediate effect, while the deployment posts of the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries would be announced in due course.
While wishing the three new appointees a most rewarding and impactful tenure in office, Muri-Okunola said that their swearing-in would be announced in due course.
