Tai Solarin varsity releases 2023/2024 post-UTME screening date

Tai Solarin University of Education has announced the commencement of its 2023/2024 post-UTME screening exercise for both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) (100 level) and direct entry (200 level) candidates.

In a statement, the university Registrar, Mr. Dapo Oke said that eligible candidates include those with A Level, OND, HND, JUPEB, IJMB qualifications and UTME candidates who selected the university as their first choice or applied for a change of institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration starts on Monday, 31st July 2023, and ends on Friday, 15th September 2023.

The screening exercise itself is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 19th to Friday, 22nd September 2023 at the university’s main campus.

The statement reads in part: “This is to inform the general public that the POST-UTME screening exercise of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the 2023/2024 session will take place as indicated below:

“UTME candidates who chose TASUED as first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 140 in the 2023 UTME. Direct Entry candidates with A level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB qualifications who chose TASUED as their first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB and have obtained 2023 Direct Entry JAMB form.

“Candidates should register online through the TASUED Admission portal on https://my.tasued.edu.ng/admission by creating an application account with their JAMB Registration Number, which will be used to confirm their names, scores, programme and passport from the JAMB CAPS. Each candidate is required to make a payment of N2,000.00 for the screening exercise payable online with either a Master card or VISA ATM card, (Please print out your receipt after payment).

“Candidates are required to fill and complete the online Registration Form by providing all the required information. It is MANDATORY for all applicants to use the University’s Online Result Verification System (ORVS) to submit and verify their ‘O’ level results.

“Print the Screening Slip containing your colour passport photograph and screening information. The printed slip will serve as candidate’s identification /admission card for the screening exercise”.

The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration commences on Monday, 31st July 2023 and closes on Friday, 15th September 2023.

Note that wrong/false information provided by any candidate shall render the registration invalid and such candidates shall be disqualified.

Screening exercise shall be conducted for all UTME/DE candidates at the Main Campus of the University from Tuesday, 19th to Friday 22nd September, 2023.

“Candidates should prepare for the screening exercise and bring along the following: Colour print-out of the online Screening Form, Original JAMB Examination, Notification of Result Slip or Direct Entry Registration Slip, Screening Slip and Receipt.

“Cell phones (GSM, CDMA, etc.) and other electronic devices are not allowed at the venue of the screening exercise,Candidates are to arrive at the screening venue an hour before the commencement of the exercise and the results of the screening exercise should be checked on the Admission portal twenty four hours (24 hours) after the screening exercise”.
