The Lagos State Police Command has declared Owodunni Ibrahim (well known as Primeboy) wanted over the death of Afrobeats musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (popularly known as MoaBad).
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday, the command’s spokesman, Superintendent Benjamin Hundeyin said; “Following his failure to honour police invitation successfully sent to him since the commencement of investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy”,
He also said that Ibrahim is “approximately 1.64 m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks, and Yoruba by tribe.
“Primeboy’s last known address, according to the statement, is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu, in Lagos State.
“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 08036885727”.
Hundeyin also said that the state Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa has offered “a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to Primeboy’s arrest”.
The Police had earlier placed in custody the owner of Marlian records, Azeez Fashola (well known as Naira Marley for interrogation over the death of MohBad, his former signee.
Last Thursday, the Police also confirmed that Balogun Olamilekan Eletu (otherwise known as Sam Larry) was in their custody over the sad incident.
Following the death of MohBad on 12th September, Nigerians pointed accusing fingers at Naira Marley, Sam Larry and many other individuals in the Marlian record label due to the way they bullied the late musician.
