Indian, Moroccan envoys assure Nasara Foundation of support

The Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, His Excellency Shri G. Balasubramanian has assured Nasara Foundation of cultural, tourism and educational support from his country.

At a recent courtesy visit by the Founder of Nasara Foundation, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris to the High Commissioner in Abuja, Balasubramanian said that Nigeria and the Republic of India have a good relationship, and his country would also be delighted to have a harmonious relationship with the Foundation as well as Kebbi State.

While inviting Hajiya Zainab, who is also the wife of the Kebbi State Governor, to the celebration of the Ayurveda Day, which is scheduled for this month, the Indian High Commissioner said the day would be celebrated in Nigeria and 100 countries.

Hajiya Zainab said she was impressed with the harmonious relationship between Nigeria and India, and that she would also want Kebbi State as well as her Foundation to benefit from the relationship.

Earlier on during a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Abuja, the Moroccan Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Moha Ou Ali Tagma said his country was committed to strengthening relationship with Nigeria, which he described as a “strategic partner”.

The Ambassador, who was represented by the Deputy Head of Mission, Mohammed Amane Tiyal added that Morocco would be willing to offer support to the Foundation as well as Kebbi State.

Founded in 2022 and formerly known as Nasara Initiative for Women and Youth, Nasara Foundation was established to focus on improving school enrolment, ending learning poverty, promoting women empowerment and youth capacity development.

Driven by a deep sense of compassion, solidarity, and an unwavering belief in the fundamental dignity of every human being, Nasara Foundation was conceived to become a catalyst for positive change, dedicatedly working to provide essential aid, support, and skill acquisition opportunities.
