The burial rites for former Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Dr. Herbert Wigwe; his wife, Chizoba; and his son, Chizi have been announced by the family.

Curiously, none of the elaborate programme will take place at the City of David Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Lagos.

Wigwe, who died on board a chopper in the United States last month, was a member of the parish.

The banker died alongside Chizoba, Chizi and a former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

After his death, wife of the Parish Pastor, Dr. Siju Iluyomade held a lavish birthday that left tongues wagging.

The funeral ceremonies are scheduled to commence on Monday.
