Sensational singer, Adedamola Adefolahan, also known as Fireboy DML, has reminisced about his memorable date with American pop star Madonna, highlighting its significance in his life.
In a recent interview with Billboard News, he described the encounter as the “most memorable day” of his life.
Reflecting on the moment Madonna reached out to him via DM on Instagram, expressing her admiration for his work, he emphasized the pride he felt in collaborating with such an iconic figure in the music industry.
He said: “Madonna sent me a DM on Instagram. I think she told me she was a fan and she loved the most unlikely song on my debut album. She is so weird and funny. I just love her. That is one of the highlights of my career; having a song with Madonna is really something to be proud of because she’s the Queen of Pop.
“I went out on a date with Madonna and I would say that was probably the most memorable day of my life. It was an experience”.
Madonna featured Fireboy in a remix of her 1998 classic, ‘Frozen’ in 2022 and they also shot a video for the song in the United States.
