Traffic Radio introduces weekly programme on Sanwo-Olu’s achievements

Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM is set to unveil a weekly programme, B.O.S Transportation Landmarks on Monday.

A statement by the station’s General Manager, Mr Tayo Akanle stated that the new programme was informed by the need to enlighten residents on the giant strides of the Sanwo-Olu administration on Traffic Management and Transportation, the “T” pillar of the T.H.E.M.E.S Developmental Agenda.

T.H.E.M.E.S represents the six-pillar development plan of the Sanwo-Olu administration. It stands for Traffic Management and Transportation; Health and Environment; Education and Technology; Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy; Entertainment and Tourism; and Security and Governance.

Realising that transportation and traffic management play vital roles in the development of the state’s economy, Akanle said that the programme would focus more on testimonials from Lagosians on the impact of the administration’s policy and achievements in the transportation sector.

The General Manager said that the maiden edition of the programme that would be aired on Monday, 3rd October from 9:15 am would focus on the achievements of the Lagos State Ferry Services Corporation in water transportation

BOS Transportation Landmarks will also be aired in Yoruba on Wednesdays by 3:00 pm and in pidgin on Tuesdays at 1:15 pm “.

Akanle said further that the programme would also be showcased weekly on the station’s social media platforms – Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM (Facebook); Lagostraffic961 (Twitter); Lagostrafficradio961 (Instagram); and trafficradio961 (YouTube).

He enjoined the public to watch out for the kick-off of the new programme.
