The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost one of its former national chairmen.
Prince Vincent Ogbulafor, who replaced Col. Ahmadu Ali (rtd.) in March 2008, died on Thursday in Canada aged 73.
Ogbulafor’s ailment was not made public, but he was said to have been receiving treatment for some time.
Born in Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, Ogbulafor was removed as PDP National Chairman in 2010.
He earlier served the party as National Secretary.
He was reputed to have boasted that the PDP would rule the country for 40 years. But the party lost to the All Progressives Congress in 2015, ruling for 16 years.
Ogbulafor was succeeded as PDP national chairman by the former governor of Enugu State, Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo.
