Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has laid the foundation of the hajj camp.

The Nation reports that Adeleke during Nasfat Ramadan’s lecture last week lamented that Osun State is the only state in the Southwest that does not have a hajj camp, promising that he will provide a befitting camp for pilgrims.

The governor yesterday laid the foundation of the hajj camp in company with his deputy, Kola Adewusi; President of Osun Muslim Community, Sheikh Mustapha Olawuyi; Chief Imam of Osogbo, Sheikh Musa Animashaun; Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun; Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, among other Muslim leaders in the state.

Speaking at the event held at the back of Government Secretariat, Abere, Adeleke said: “Why will it be only Osun State that does not have a camp for pilgrims? I pronounced it a few days ago and we are here today to the glory of Allah laying the foundation.
