A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Sunusi Takko, has lashed out at former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, for his open criticisms of President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Takko, who served in the defunct 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Council, described Amaechi’s criticisms of President Bola Tinubu as unpatriotic and advised him to recover from losing the APC presidential ticket to President Bola Tinubu in 2022.

Amaechi had, in a recent interview, decried the economic hardship in the country, wondering why youths are not on the streets protesting against President Bola Tinubu’s government.

In a statement on Sunday, Takko took on Amaechi over his suggestion of mass protest against the government, wondering if Amaechi had yet to recover from losing the APC presidential ticket to President Tinubu in 2023.

The fact that he lost to President Bola Tinubu with the widest margin of votes doesn’t mean he should rock the boat, leading the path to the destruction of lives and properties of fellow Nigerians.

Amaechi should always learn to be loyal to those who have helped him one way or the other to reach his present position and status in life, knowing fully well that what goes around comes around.
