The anticipation for Wednesday’s semifinal encounter between the Super Eagles and the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations entered a new gear with the youth Wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) mobilising its members to back the Nigerian team.
Special events being put together by the wing, under the party’s National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, include the APC Youth Match Viewing Party, which will be hosted as part of Israel’s Community Action Through Sport Initiative of the National Youth Leader.
According to a statement by the APC Youth wing, “this event aligns with the APC National Youth Strategic Plan 2024-2027, which emphasises youth engagement and national unity”. It will hold on Wednesday, at the APC National Secretariat in Awuse, Abuja from 4 pm.
With the Super Eagles capturing the hearts of millions across the nation, Israel understands the significance of rallying support for the team. The viewing party aims to bring together APC youths from all corners of the country to celebrate and cheer on our national football team.

Organisers said that Attendees can anticipate an electrifying atmosphere, laced with camaraderie, cheers, and chants as they watch the Super Eagles in action.
The event will also include refreshments, entertainment, and opportunities for networking and engagement.
