Arase pledges fairness in police recruitment

Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr. Solomon Arase has pledged to ensure credibility, fairness and merit in the ongoing Police Constable recruitment.

The PSC in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) had commenced the 2023 recruitment exercise for qualified and interested Nigerians for appointment into the Force as Constables (Recruits) General duty and Specialists (artisans) (Recruits).

Arase, a retired inspector-general of police, has promised a credible, fair, equitable and merit-driven exercise in line with the commission’s rules and guidelines for recruitment.

Arase called on Nigerian youths to take advantage of the recruitment exercise and contribute to the service of their fatherland adding that the commission will continue to ensure that it gives the nation a Police Force it will always be proud of.

Interested Nigerians are invited to log into the recruitment portal www.policerecruitment.gov.ng for details of the exercise.

The portal opened on Sunday, 15th October and will close on 26th November 2023.
