Congratulating Nigerian Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda has counselled that the lessons of the fasting period be carried forward into their daily lives by embracing unity, extending kindness to one another, and upholding justice and fairness in all dealings.
In his Eid-el-Fitr message on Friday, Yilwatda emphasised that, at a time when the nation continues to navigate complex challenges, the spirit of sacrifice and collective responsibility, imbibed during Ramadan, remains more relevant than ever.
The APC National Chairman extended his warmest felicitations to President Bola Tinubu, Vice President, Kashim Shettima, members of the Federal Executive Council, the National Assembly and members of the National Working Committee of the party.
He noted that Ramadan is not merely a period of abstinence, but a sacred journey of the soul, a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.
He particularly commended President Tinubu for his steadfast leadership and resilience in steering the affairs of the nation, noting that the administration continues to take bold and necessary steps aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth, economic stability, and national cohesion.
He called on all Nigerians to continue to support the President in his quest to build a stronger and more prosperous country.
He further called on Nigerians to use the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to offer sincere prayers for the nation, praying that Almighty Allah grants Nigerian leaders divine wisdom, strength, good health, and guide them with the courage and success in safeguarding the country.
Yilwatda reaffirmed APC’s commitment to the ideals of good governance, inclusiveness, and national development, assuring Nigerians that the party would continue to support policies and programmes that uplift lives and strengthen the nation’s democratic fabric.
