Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of 10 new permanent secretaries.
The governor’s Special Adviser, Media, Yinka Oyebode, said that the appointment was ‘in a bid to strengthen the leadership of the state civil service and reposition it for greater service delivery’.
Oyebode said in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday that ‘the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries follows their success in the highly competitive examination and selection process’.
He listed the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, who would be sworn in on Thursday, as S.O. Ibijola, Olaonipekun Eweje, Sunday Omoya, Morakinyo Oluwatoyin Akilo and Mr Adelusi Adebanji Lateef.
They also included Ejimokun Bunmi Peter, Olufemi Adediran, Ayoola Clement I, Bayode Ogunmola Lawrence and Toyin Mercy Ojelabi-Pedro.
In January, Oyebanji appointed Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff.
